I've decided
Decided!
After a couple of indecisions
Found the answer to my every question
Found a way to balance the equation
My totality went through an inflation
Soaring prices of soul fuel
Heart locked in arms cruel
I fought wars
I bought cars
To transit my wounded soldiers
Not leaving my dead unburied
Not leaving thoughts un-ferried
Love is a war leaving a scar
Got shot got wounded but not killed
I got experiences, got super-skilled
Yet indecision is the real war
The unexpected visitor at dawn
The sleeping danger drawn
The limping stranger's frown
But I've decided today-
chose you among my flock
Put you in my head behind a lock
Then see if you'd bring me any luck
Hold you supreme like a dot that ends a sentence
Peg you down in this windy clime
So you wouldn't be blown away again
By the winds of indecision
O my God don't get blown away
Stay fixed I've decided
I'd sing you a lullaby to lay you to sleep
Write you endless poems to keep you dreaming
Am scheming now no longer screaming
Watering those seedlings you left
A one-millionth second ago, watching them grow
Each day watching you glow
As you begin to realize my decision
How do we remake this incision
On every part of our mien
Feeling so cool to a song by Moen
Each time you cut me open to reach my heart
Now I know how a worship song feels
