How easy it is to write a poem

I write a story, with hard work and effort

But no one bothers to take a long look at it ever 

I write poem, with little words and meaning 

And everyone looks at it with much feeling 

Oh how easy it is to write a poem 

Much easier to write a story with meaning sown 

Oh how much attention a little poem can grab 

And how I can write it while taking a nap 

So why write a story with work 

When people pay as much attention to it as they do to a fork 

Why not write a poem 

And not have to moan
